Moving earth

I judged Monster Jam at the ballpark because a friend/parts dealer needed a last minute replacement.

It was a pretty cool experience - box seats in the Western Metal building and the knowledge that I alone (along with five other judges) got to determine the truest metric for badassery.

I did sort of end up playing the bad guy. For example, a truck would go for their timed run, hit a jump wrong and unspectacularly roll over mere seconds into their run.

Caps

Since the futon is semi-permanently relocated to the guest bedroom, I decided to renovate the closets that used to just hang out behind it. Floor, walls, shelves. Now I have decent game storage and a surfboard check.

King tide was on Thanksgiving morning. Fletcher's was pretty high even two hours later.

I made it down to Diamond City (Fenway) in Fallout. Towns really are a highlight of the western-style rpg.

Bombing it

At long last we can crawl the postapocalyptic wasteland again, Fallout 4 is here. I haven't played all that much of it, and it's taken awhile to settle back into the gameplay style.

The most discussed feature Fallout 4 is the construction/customization of ally camps throughout the wasteland. It feels a bit like the Mass Effect 3 war asset gathering that was supposed to help you in the final battle. I'm not sure how it will play out and am avoiding spoilers for the moment.
